L1 signals can offer you precise location information when used alone, but when combined with L5 signals—which can better penetrate buildings—you get even more precise information. Even greater connectivity in the EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions is made possible by this incredibly precise tracker's new 4G LTE Cat 1 connectivity modem, which supports more LTE frequency bands and includes a fallback to 2G. The device's resources load more efficiently due to its enhanced hardware. Additionally, without a MicroSD card, the new model can store up to eight times as much data records as the existing PROFESSIONAL category line because to its 16 MB of inbuilt Flash memory.
Two CAN lines on the tracker are specifically designed to assist large vehicles; one connects to the tachograph, and the other to the truck's FMS interface. When connected to the FMS interface, the device can use the FMS capability to retrieve all important truck data from the truck dashboard, including fuel consumption, engine work hours, and other information. As a result, every dashboard event that the driver sees is also sent to the server, where fleet management may view it.
Four Tell Tale ID blocks that display dashboard indicators, statuses, or vehicle information make up the FMS Tell Tale function. The standardized FMS protocol describes a number of factors, including high/low beam information, light indication, tu signals, stop lights, seat belts, engine oil information, steering fluid level, retarder, transmission fluid information, brake failure, system breakdown, and many more.
Fleet managers may monitor driver behavior, enhance driving safety when needed, prevent needless expenses, and manage the budget more effectively by obtaining this crucial information from the dashboard.
